Influence Federal Health Policy

  • Establish CPIC as the premier, national one-stop organization representing Cardiac PET manufacturers and allied stakeholders
  • Engage in legislative and regulatory advocacy shaping the reimbursement and availability of Cardiac PET diagnostics

Education and Awareness

  • Develop and deliver educational programs to inform special societies healthcare providers, policymakers, and the public about the clinical benefits and value of Cardiac PET
  • Ensure that this modality is used effectively and billed appropriately across all healthcare settings

Support Clinical Research

  • Advocate for increased funding and support for Cardiac PET research to demonstrate this diagnostic’s comparative value, both clinically and economically, over related testing measures

Proven Record of Success

CPIC has demonstrated significant reach and depth in a short period of time. Our early victories include:

  • Securing 43 bipartisan Members of Congress on a letter to the CMS Administrator urging a review and reconsideration of proposed CY 2020 cuts to cardiac PET
  • Filing robust comments with CMS on behalf of industry
  • Placing media content summarizing and advertising the coalition’s 2019 success

Lon Wilson

Lon is the CEO of both CDL Nuclear and CardioNavix as well as the Chief Radiation Safety Officer for both entities. Dedicated to the success of the company’s mission to unite advanced cardiovascular imaging technology with the latest medical knowledge while serving the best interests of physicians and their patients, Lon supports, motivates, and engages with each employee and position within CDL Nuclear and CardioNavix.

Kim

Kim McDaniel

Bracco

Kim is the Executive Director of Nuclear Medicine at Bracco Diagnostics Inc. In her current role, she leads the sales, clinical and marketing teams. She joined Bracco Diagnostics Inc. in 2003 as a Region Manager for contrast media and devices before moving to the nuclear medicine division in 2006. In 2007 she took over the leadership of the Bracco’s nuclear medicine franchise and established and implemented the sales and marketing strategy for nuclear cardiology. Kim believes in the diagnostic value of cardiac PET and the positive impact it has on helping physicians diagnose and treat their patients.

Walt Stenborg

Siemens

Walt is the Sr. Director of Marketing and Sales Operations for the Molecular Imaging Team at Siemens Healthineers in the US. Driving both marketing and sales initiatives to increase customer knowledge of how the Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging equipment can meet the current and future needs of their imaging programs. Walt and his team are responsible for educating the Siemens Molecular Imaging Sales Team on both products and the emerging trends that are driving the growth in our field seen today.
