Influence Federal Health Policy
- Establish CPIC as the premier, national one-stop organization representing Cardiac PET manufacturers and allied stakeholders
- Engage in legislative and regulatory advocacy shaping the reimbursement and availability of Cardiac PET diagnostics

- Provide expert input and evidence-based recommendations as industry’s recognized collective thought-leader
Education and Awareness
- Develop and deliver educational programs to inform special societies healthcare providers, policymakers, and the public about the clinical benefits and value of Cardiac PET
- Ensure that this modality is used effectively and billed appropriately across all healthcare settings
Support Clinical Research
- Advocate for increased funding and support for Cardiac PET research to demonstrate this diagnostic’s comparative value, both clinically and economically, over related testing measures
Proven Record of Success
CPIC has demonstrated significant reach and depth in a short period of time. Our early victories include:
- Securing 43 bipartisan Members of Congress on a letter to the CMS Administrator urging a review and reconsideration of proposed CY 2020 cuts to cardiac PET
- Filing robust comments with CMS on behalf of industry
- Placing media content summarizing and advertising the coalition’s 2019 success

Dedicated to the success of the company’s mission to unite advanced cardiovascular imaging technology with the latest medical knowledge while serving the best interests of physicians and their patients, Lon supports, motivates, and engages with each employee and position within CDL Nuclear and CardioNavix.

Kim is the General Manager of Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) at GE Healthcare.
Jesse R. Johnson
Curium
Jesse serves as the Director of Strategic Accounts at Curium, where he is responsible for a broad portfolio of the company’s products and collaborates closely with radiopharmacy partners and direct customers across the United States. In addition, he oversees Curium’s Strontium-82 (Sr-82) business, working alongside Rubidium-82 (Rb-82) providers and manufacturing operations to help ensure a reliable supply chain that supports the growing demand for Cardiac PET imaging.
With more than 40 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, Jesse has dedicated his career to advancing the specialty and advocating for the adoption of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
At Curium, Jesse supports the company’s mission to develop, manufacture, and deliver world-class radiopharmaceutical products that improve patient outcomes worldwide. He believes Cardiac PET represents one of the most impactful opportunities to advance precision diagnostics and enhance the quality of care for patients across the healthcare continuum.
